2021 Azimut – Brisat Orange

Vinification:
From a renowned Cava producer in Penedes comes this approachable yet utterly soulful and sincere Orange wine made from grapes indigenous to the region. Brisat, in the local dialect means "pomace" and refers to the skin contact the grapes in this lovely blend see for up to a week, followed by aging in concrete.

Tasting:
A beautiful copper color in the glass, the wine leaps to meet you with alluring aromas of golden apple skin and baking spice. A smooth, rounded palate of golden fruit (apples, sultanas) is balanced with fine grippy tannins and a small but noticeable hit of funky goodness.
