Christina Gruner Veltiner
Wine goddess alert! Christina Netzl got her start in her family’s vineyards at a mere 5 years old, which might explain her green thumb and interest in all things organic today. After Christina returned from college, where she studied oenology and wine management, she settled down to work alongside her family. She grew interested in organic winemaking after the birth of her two kids. From her love of organic wines came her love of natural wines, featured in her eponymous line of wines. All of the creatures on this sweet label (you know we love a cute label around these parts) depict helpful insects in vineyards and gardens alike.
This lovely little Grüner Veltliner is hazy as the day is long but the cleanest example of a natural wine you're likely to taste. It's bone-dry with notes of green pear.
