Gonc Grape Abduction Rose Liter

Producer: Grape Abduction is a wine from Gönc winery. Peter Gönc is a 4th generation winemaker. Gönc winery was established in 1936 when Peter Gönc’s great grandfather built their first wine cellar and planted the vineyard in the small town of Dobrovnik in Slovenia. The name of the winery, Gönc, is the last name of the family and also a name for a Hungarian oak barrel, which contains 136 liters.

Tasting notes:  Tastes a bit like picking strawberries in a lush, woodland Slovenian forest. Fruit forward with notes of raspberries and a lingering, dry finish of fresh pansies and violets.
