Land of Saints is a collaboration between Angela and Jason Osborne and Manuel Cuevas, focused on producing high quality wines from California's Central Coast that over deliver for their price.
This delightfully fun, but super approachable Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a single vineyard in the Happy Canyon AVA of Santa Ynez. Happy Canyon has come to be the primer viticultural area for growing Bordeaux and Rhone varieties, as it is markedly warmer than most of Santa Barbara, but still benefits from a longer growing season. Angela de-stems all the fruit, which uniquely comes from 3 different clones all of which are fermented separately and then blended before bottling.
Ripe and well rounded, on the fuller side of medium-bodied with great concentration. Dark berry fruit, and hint of cassis. Not too earthy or spicy, just totally solid and very food friendly
